My Top 10 Cafe's to Visit in Scotland...

- Thursday, 20 September 2018. to read...
Coming from a family who made it mandatory to have a cup of tea on the mornings, I became by default a tea person. Coming to the UK I've realized a cafe is like a corner shop, you can find one anywhere in the UK and be sure to note they always serve tea. Living in Scotland for a year has just increased my tea passion. Weird? ... maybe to those who don't fancy the everyday cup of tea but I know if you're not a tea lover then you are definitely a coffee person. Whilst exploring the little I did whilst doing my masters I've encountered some of my favorite cafe's to visit whilst strolling through Scotland/ Glasgow environs.

This chain is one of the top contenders in the UK's favorite cafe's. My favorite thing on the menu is their Chai-latte teas and their pizza (meat feast)

Besides their amazing lemon drizzle cake, Willows' offer (as the name states) different themed rooms with the cutest and most unique seating. Also there is historic merchandise on sale as this tea shop dates back to 1983.

Their carrot and coriander soup is to die for and their sandwiches are heavenly. A cute cafe just off  the corner of High Street Glasgow, serving artisan food and ethical ingredients.

They serve the absolute best chocolate drinks and it's no surprise as their cocoa plantation is based in the Caribbean.

5. Little Rock Cafe

Situated on Isle of Arran this cafe has a great range on their menu, from cakes, to light lunch and a full meal. Their monster magnificent shakes like the Oreo milkshake was a nice extra bonus to their menu.

6. Riggs Coffee House

This coffee house did not hold back when it came to friendly staff and excellent service. Their cheesecake and soup was extremely delicious. It is located in Falkirk.

This cafe is neatly tucked in a scenic alleyway in Falkirk. The cafe is quirky with lots of  fun stuff on the menu.

The size of sandwiches are huge, so don't go ordering anything else.

And lets not forget the cutest tea pots ever. They have a range of animals and characters all hand knitted and a catalog with all the tea pots pictured wearing each.

Based in Edinburgh, this is a great place to go with your family or group of friends. Their waffles are absolutely amazing

This chain of cafes are very well known throughout the UK. Their menu is vast with a ray of options for everyone. Everything tried on the menu has never disappointed thus far.

 10. Darnley's Coffee House

Situated in Stirling, this cozy coffee shop was homely. Darnley's Coffee House has been everything from a dairy, to a brothel, to a tourist office and now to a cafe. The food was absolutely amazing and the price was even more exceptional.

I hope to evidentially add to this list as time goes by so you definitely might see an updated version within a few months.
