About the author

"Growing up I never thought that being away from my family was ever an option. I’ve lived 20+ years under the comfort and security of my family, not pressured or suffocated but I was in love with every aspect and meaning of family. Moving away from the comfort of my home and starting a life outside of my family and those close around me lead me to where I am today, a Trinidadian living in Dubai. It’s not the sunny skies I’m always accustomed too, but it’s my new home, which I have grown to love and enjoy. I have learnt how to refocus on myself and everything new I’ve started. This is my experiences, my travels, my h-ai-r story, my love, my family... my new journey."
